It all started when...
After living in and traveling to several countries, Pranjul Tandon, founder, Ready.Baby.Go! was intrigued to find a common thread of superstitions, mis-truths, and fallacies surrounding pregnancy and infant care in all the cultures she experienced.
As a mother herself, Pranjul spent a significant amount of time seeking truthful, logical and scientific principles that helped her during her pregnancy. This inspired her to join the Childbirth & Post-Partum Professional Association (CAPPA) and become a Certified Childbirth Educator.
While providing a traditional Indian massage to her own baby, Pranjul realized the benefits that it provided to the mother and child's physical & emotional well-being. She decided to additionally get certified as an Infant Massage Instructor with the International Association of Infant Massage (IAIM) so that she could share the knowledge.
Many women around her were not reaching the WHO recommendation of exclusively breastfeeding the baby for the first 6 months. This prompted her to complete the Breastfeeding Counsellor Program, conducted by the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, Sharjah. She counsels, supports and guides women to help them successfully breastfeed and most importantly, encourages them to enjoy their unique feeding journey!
Working with various families across the years, she believes that babies have individual personalities and are highly intelligent. The only thing that restricts them from showcasing their thoughts and needs is the inability of parents to accurately interpret their communication. In her endeavour to highlight this aspect, she got trained as a Baby Sign Language Instructor.
No parenting support is complete without a discussion on the child’s sleeping pattern. This drew Pranjul to become a Pediatric Sleep Consultant, after completing her training from the London School of Childcare Studies (OCN Level 5). She educates families on sleep hygiene (which has nothing to do with cleanliness!), the biological need for sleep, safe sleep practices and personally helps families improve their little one’s disrupted sleep patterns through simple lifestyle changes.
An electronics & communication engineer by education, Pranjul has found that the practice of imparting knowledge on child-birth and infant-care provides her the perfect balance of professional and personal satisfaction. Pranjul has lived in 6 countries and has worked with clients belonging to 20+ nationalities globally in regions such as India, Western Europe and the Middle East. She continues to work in close association with families and healthcare providers to encourage natural, comfortable and healthy pregnancy, birthing and parenting experiences.
